yep, the point isn't Bradman, the point is if you don't get him early you don't get him at the moment - it's a stunning run, but I suspect there are a few others that have averaged 100 over 10 tests or so, but that group would be some pretty good players
I think I saw an article that said Jimmy Adams got the closest after 19 innings with an average of 87. I think there were also a few on here making comments on Hussey's average after his great start to his career. Adams ended up on 41 and Hussey a touch over 50..

Yep - that's the thing with Hussey and Voges (and some other Australians in particular) their test careers took off when they were very mature first class cricketers not a great surprise they handled it well.
Bob Quiney also comes to mind
