 they couldn't have made it more obvious.Commentators more or less twisting Chris Martin's arm into retiring
looks like we are gonna be stuck with North for a while
...which won't be till after the next world cup ](*,)I know now we can only hope Hussey hurrys up and retires

I can see why North would frustrate, but why on earth do you want rid of Hussey and Katich??
1. You don't seem to have anyone better busting down the door to get in.
2. You always seem to want rid of someone - before Hussey (and Katich apparently) it was Watson, before that Hayden, Martyn etc etc...
Ferguson averages 35 with only 4 hundreds in 88 innings.

all due respct, the poms have a much better bowling line up and he will struggle again
basically because we believe we can do better, these guys dont get selected till they are 30, so they dont get dropped till they are about 35
the argument that the selectors use is that they have done enough to retain their spot, but my argument would be "why shouldn't we pick our strongest team?"
Hussey had to score today to get a run in the ashes, he's done nothing lately, living off last years form
North couldn't even make a run in first class cricket in Oz, yet he looks at ease in NZ,

I've got no problems with Kat, test player of the year last year, Watson is in good form as well
if North regains his form, well and good, but our selectors were too slow to react in the last ashes and that cost us the ashes imo
