2nd Test New Zealand vs India - Napier

Yep. And they're showing the resistance of a champion team right now.

They did belt the Kiwis by 10 wickets in the first test. Which is more than Australia did when they nearly lost to the Kiwis in the first test up at Brisbane.

Again, India clearly have a better batting line-up than Australia. And they clearly have a better bowling attack. And that was shown when they raped Australia not long back 2 nil.

We're not as awful as we showed in the first test - it's our batsmen that aren't up to it, although Ryder is showing signs now...

This wicket was in reality too placid for us to bowl them out twice - but we've done bloody well to dominate this test... but we should, I said earlier on we'd be competitive, and was incredibly disappointed with how we went in the first test...

But you're right, Aust loo marginally #3 at the moment, although Johnson and Siddle are going to make them solid

Marginally 3rd?

Wrong.

Undisputed #1.

the kiwis didn't do to us what they are doing to India and we just beat the Saffas at home

I dont think there is much difference between the 3 teams and I do agree with most comments that there is no clear no1 at this stage and that includes India imo

great effort by India, albeit on a track that hasn't deteriorated enough - great effort by NZ too, I might add

Apparently ICL players might be released? Could get bond back (altho he must be near mid-30's by now).

Apparently - as above, Bond is still be best bowler in cricket, so if he was interested, we instantly become quite a different team. I doubt that he is interested in test cricket though.

Darryl Tuffey is the other one, he's bowling better than he ever has, so would be a good addition.

Doesn't solve the main problem though, which continues to be top order batting, and consistency in batting

Bond has said numerous times that he's not really interested in playing for NZ again.

Haven't seen Tuffey bowling at all this season, but the stats are looking good lately

Will be good to see how he is going, Sky are showing highlights of the final each night that it is played next week

Geez, sensational start here. It looks like we might restrict India to only 200....

All the Kiwi bowlers bar Vettori have a wicket. I wouldn't mind having Ryder in McDonald spot that guy can bowl and bat better than him.
