Ricky Ponting - Please retire now and do not ruin what will be a magical tour when India come to Australia this summer. All the focus should be on Sachin's milestone of his 100th hundred rather than your career slowly fading into the abyss.

Provided many brilliant moments throughout his career, however he is now done and cannot match it with the best in the world. We simply can't afford another Mark Taylor like situation where one innings will give him another 6 months in the side.

Retire now before your credibility is in further tatters.

Considering the NZ bwling attack I wouldn't think that's beyond the realms of possibility either. The only thing they excel at more than being non-threatening is playing a terribly out of form batsman into form.

We killed them in the first session. Watson and Hughes get out for good scores then in come punter and Clarke to shit all over everything with negative batting and ultimately shithouse performances.

We will be 4/60 or so for this session based largely around their failures. Woeful

Seeing as Haddin doesn't count as a wicket, we're essentially 5 for. Those two need to bat at least until we get to their total. Then we can go about building a lead.

This is cricket. Players getting out to good bowling. The pitch is good if you get in. Early on it favours the bowlers however this is how test cricket should be. Great stuff!
