Most of his runs have come off poor shots and he's been really lucky not to have found fielders.

There's his second, I am very happy for him. Had stuff to prove, they weren't huge wickets, but his taking them is big.

Pat is not a bunny. Scored a lot of runs in Green Shield 3 seasons ago.
that is a very weird comment. Just because it is weird to talk about anything any test player did in the under 18 (or 17?, the ladies' equivalent is 17) grade comp.

Just saying he is not just known for his bowling in the Penrith area. His batting was always very good as a youngster.

Steyn!!!!!
Only needs 2 more now, but should get a head start on the next milestone by taking several more this test.

stumps being taken after only 4 balls this evening is freaking great for South Africa. The match is well positioned which I think puts South Africa on top - us having the all round better side

FFS I go to sleep when we're 170/1 and I wake up to see that we're all out for 296

As much as I love Ponting, surely he's on his last legs?

Bit disappointed that neither Watson or Hughes went on to make a ton (although they were a bit lucky to get to their respective totals), but they more than did their jobs.

Looks like the new ball is the time to score runs , seems harder to bat after 40-50 overs and collapse on the cards for both sides. If we can keep things tight in the 1st session, regardlesss of how many wickets we take, hopefully wickets will flow quick later in the day. We are right in this. Mitch Johnson needs to deliver, otherwise lets just hand this test to South Africa and play golf on the weekend

Went to sleep after tea, I was hoping I was the jinx having missed the first session but apparently not.
