If he makes contact (and he does), it goes from a Lyon to a Warner. And that’s without taking into account what was actually said. Even if the contact was accidental, he shouldn’t have got that close.

The SBW masks are great - but cricket officials must stay well clear of that shit - you can always trust South African officials to show a lack of class though - very poor, worse than Rabada, Davey, and Lyon - they're doing dumb things as 'professional' athletes - not excusable but understandable - no justification for officials IMO

Far be it for me to sound like a feminazi but the SBW masks are very distasteful and degrading to women.

They're basically saying "haha SBW f**ked your wife". Now if a player says that on the pitch in the heat of battle that's one thing; but for SA cricket officials to make a big joke of this with the masks is another matter entirely.

If it was a female athlete whose husband shagged another bird previously do you think they'd hand out masks of the woman? Of course not.

It's a disrespectful double standard.

As usual it's the whole 'men are lads when they sleep around but women who do the same are sluts' angle.
