He's been due for about 3 years.
Michael Holding summed up Amla well in the last test.

I will try and paraphrase what Holding said:

Amla really hasn't got a great technique and has been a great batsman due to his hand/eye coordination. However as he gets older, this will deteriorate and so will his run scoring.

Edit: Watch him get a heap now...

You squeal like a stuck pig whenever an Australian looks at an opposition player the wrong way. Does it go the other way, i wonder? Should Rabada cop a ban?
Not for that, IMO nothing there, but he has form and like some others needs to grow up

I know this test is still very early but we may have stuffed up the toss.

All the commentators said at the time, they thought it was bowl 1st pitch. De Plesis said he was leaning towards bowling too.

Happy to be proven wrong.

It does look quite dry still. I suppose it comes down to batting first or batting last...

Rabada will get suspended, I haven't seen a good angle but you can't give the batsman a piece of your shoulder after you've dismissed him

Sure, I don't think there was much in it but happy if he's suspended

Of course I also thought Warner should have been

The difference is their previous history.

Warner was charged with a grade 3 and accepted. Apparently Rabada has been charged with a grade 2.

So that says the officials think Warner incident was worse

Yep, he should be suspended and I assume he will be

He really needs to sort himself out to be honest, he's been sanctioned a few times already and it seems whenever he's not being sanctioned he is less effective with ball in hand
