de Kock gone - he's had a pretty terrible WC. 85/2

Davis really is poor... *edit* poor Davis is pretty kind to Davis, hopefully he heads home after the group stages

Oh dear - didn't see this one, but reports suggest Davis has f**ked up again, and this time UAE didn't review - had AB plumb by all accounts, and Davis didn't give it... admittedly seems like they were foolish not to review - but how the f**k is Davis umpiring at this level????

Ok, new reports say clipping, so umpires decision would have stood... would like to have seen him gone, and the Jaapies under pressure again - no way they're losing, but love watching them squirm  Davis remains a useless turd

David Miller is the new batsman. Like Roman Reigns he comes out through the crowd and jumps over the boundary boards into the playing, well, "arena"

What a random piece of commentary on the cricinfo page!

Sounds like UAE are unlucky not to have a couple more wickets under their belt at this stage! Would be awesome to see another minnow stand up to the established higher ups (though the selfish part of me wants AB & Miller to smash it now as they're both in my Fantasy team).

Once again early forecasts of rain haven't come through for Wellington, doesn't look too shabby out there (clouds in the distance other side of harbour) from view at my office!

Swapnil Patil with a 50 next to his name. The UAE batting have shown good fight throughout the tournament (apart from the India game) and hopefully they can put up a good showing against the Windies on Sunday.

From the bats Sanga clearly #1 is imo, what he's done and the way he's done it has been special

But given the wickets they've had to bowl on, I'd be thinking hard about Boult, Starc, Southee and Vettori in player of the tournament discussions
