Clarke's captaincy was good too...good field placings and bowling changes. Helped a lot by the fact that his bowlers actually did a good job, it speaks volumes for me that we did that without Siddle.

Clarke was good today, he woke up to some quality in the local Sunday paper too. Clarke is the next captain and I think he will do a great job...

he bowled the in form bowlers too, where as Punter would have no doubt had Notch bowling at the tail

so this just throws our selectors into more of a state of confusion, will they retain these two or stick with Siddle and Notch

also we shouldn't get too carried away, this is a Gabba green top even Siddle would have got a wicket on this pitch

What's with their bowl short mentality to the lower order? They bowled beautifuly then when the number 9 came in (forget his name) McKay bowls an over of short pitched crap then Starc tried the same with Malinga the next over that's exactly the rubbish the cost us the first game in Melbourne.
