Funny how quickly the nice guys who only playing the spirit of the game change their tune when a series is on the line.
Maybe their shit does stink just like the Australians.

WTF are you on about?

I'll put it down as another pathetic troll

Even worse than Ryan Campbell (played 2 ODIs during 2002/2003)?

Btw, I just looked up that Campbell will be playing for Hong Kong in the T20 World Cup next month

Yes.

I was about to say that Campbell was going to run around for Hong Kong.

We don't know what he said to be fair, it looked like Marsh was giving the spray

I dunno, Marsh was shaking his head and looked to say "f**king bullshit" (which is fair, whether he was lamenting the process or his rotten luck, both would be accurately described that way), then McCullum made an aggressive sort of gesture towards him and Marsh looked to say "oh f**k off merkin."

Like I said, no issues from me, I just find it hypocritical.

rightfully so too, to sledge a bloke after he gets out in that manner is a disgrace to your country, especially as the captain

 yeah yeah - Greg Chappell, Jim Higgs and Greg Dyer say hello for a start

He was out, fair and square - once the appeal was made they should have checked it, they check ones that clearly aren't out

Love how SOME Aussies piss and moan when they lose

I for one thought we were toast after our effort with the bat, but a well deserved series win

Anyway everything aside, McCullum deserved a win to go out on. I'd prefer if people didn't remember him as some faux nice guy on the field tbh...he's a genuine scrapper and that's much more admirable. IMO anyway. Always played within the spirit of the game, gave everything, and never took a backwards step

Kind of like your lot pissing and moaning after you lost in Adelaide?

NZ will do anything to win, well done McCullum, you'll get your win even if you had to stoop to a new low to get it

ah welp, fairytale ending, cheap but hey, you'll take it when you can

we're even now

Underarm - 1
Non-appeal dismissal as the bowler is about to run in for the next delivery - 1

how to manipulate the umpires 101, with Brendan McCullum

Ok, that's the main course taken care of. Could I interest you in a side of steak to go with your plate of salt?

Got 4 catches and a stumping, was absolutely fearless as well. Not sure if he did it in either ODI but he used to don a baseball face mask and keep up to the quicks, and do it well. Also one of the original players of the scoop over the keeper/fine leg. There wasn't much wrong with Ryan Campbell as a back up keeper IMO

Despite what the media love to tout as Dhoni being the master innovator of the scoop shot, Douglas Marillier & Ryan Campbell were playing the scoop shot back in the early 2000s, years before Dhoni stopped wearing his diapers.

As a wicketkeeper though, I guess you could say like with MacGill and Warne, Campbell was unlucky his career overlapped with Healy's and Gilchrist's.

Agreed, but he plays up to the nice guy act himself. Wait for him to call out Marsh in his next article

f**k some of you merkins could sook for Australia. No harm in admitting we didn't shape up. It'd be a different story if Marsh wasn't out, but he was. Get over it.
