I think he is like Siddle
Not many people rate him, but tends to get a few wickets each innings - usually important ones

I rate Siddle, because you could toss him the ball in any situation and any conditions and he'll charge in 100% and pry out wickets. His numbers aren't great but he's valuable.

Most of Bresnan's best bowling performances have been against India and West Indies and that too in friendly home conditions. I would have picked any of Tremlett/Rankin/Finn over him any day for Perth.
