These blokes keep getting out to T20 style strokes/ footwork.

Yep reduce the relevance of the BBL, cash cow or not, CA is more concerned about making money then the national side winning.

I did a coaching refresher course before the current season....the buzzwords were " free swing of the bat", " have a hit", etc.

We were shown a drill, that was encouraged to be adopted, that involved throwing balls to the leg side of the batsman, but the batsmen needed to hit everything to his off side.

The problem starts at the top, definitely.

Edit...this was a Stage 1& 2 course.
