Seriously, it's a useless dead sport, but it's pretty sad to actively go around putting people down over it.

Honestly the only time I usually even remember it exists these days is when NRL fans moan about it. Says a lot.

In Victoria they passionately trash anything that isn’t AFL and abuse people who don’t watch it. I remember going to Melbourne back when I was 12 and they all asked me who my favourite afl team was. When I told them I didn’t like it they all told me Rugby League players were rapists, thugs, criminals and every name under the sun and abused a 12 year old for watching it. Whilst annoying the racism, violence, arrogance and misogyny in their game.

AFL never bothered me before then but that changed my view on it. Just an arrogant terrible game watched by deluded arrogant people and played in just 3 tiny states of 1 country
