This Bancroft bloke just threw the whole team under the bus with his comments IMO. No champ, you and Warner failed in your duty as representatives of Australian cricket. Smith should have really shut this all down when he found out about it.

The buck stops with the captain. If anyone is "most" guilty in this its Smith

Yep. What’s the old saying, captain goes down with the ship.

What peeves me off with Bancroft’s comments is that he basically said if he didn’t do it he wouldn’t feel apart of the team and that he would feel like he would have let them down...

Don't agree tbh. I think he's owned his mistake, and he's explained why he made the decision. He's mentioned a few times that he made the mistake and that was no one's decision but his. He's also admitted he lied.

I'm glad someone has named Warner as the one who drove it too.

I think Bancroft comes across as a decent kid on the whole.

It says a lot about the culture of the leadership group in the Australian squad at the time. He won’t gain any ground by throwing people under the bus but he wanted to come out and say what he really thought and what unfolded.

He’s done that and he’ll probably feel better for it. f**k Warner and Smith either way
