We haven't lost a pre-christmas test at the Gabba since 1988.

The west indies had a bowling attack of Marshall, Ambrose, Walsh, Pattinson with Viv Richards as captain and Desmond Haynes opening the batting.

So I think we should be right really.

And I reckon Siraj is going to harrased and cop it from the Queenslanders north of the border just like the NSW origin side do at Suncorp

No changes. Hazelwood will come in but only if absolutely 100%.from what I saw on an interview he didn't seem hugely confident

don't think Australia should be picking any bowler that isn't 100%
Think Boland/Neser/others at 100% are going to be better than Starc/Hazlewood/Cummins at 90% and at risk of not being able to bowl full pace on day 3,4,5

Boland is not that bad that we'd pick Haze at 90% instead of him, he's a decent replacement.

We got 3 more test matches to go yet.

be good to see Shami play, he's a terrific pace bowler. Also interesting whether they can manage the conflict - can be done of course, when Hadlee was at his peak he and Jeremy Coney barely spoke - didn't seem to affect the team...

I expect many similar things have happened given the quirkiness of many cricketers, I'd be shocked if some Aussies didn't dislike Clarke, and of course there's Tugga and Warnie

There is a reason Michael Clarke doesn't hang around former team mates.

No one liked him and since he retired he has had falling out with mates outside of cricket.

Great batsman but self absorbed with his own image and wanting to hang around the rich and glitz people away from Cricket.

Poor old Pup going off media has just moved into his 4th or 5th relationship since he divorced from his wife a few years ago. He seems to have a new missus every 6-12 months at this rate.

He has also fallen out with Karl Stefanovic & Anthony Bell as well his 2 long-time friends in the past couple of years.

There seems to be one rotten apple in all this and its poor pup.

I'd like to see him in a test match, I think he'd go OK.

Never for me

He can stay in white ball where he is established. Has hardly played red ball 3-4 matches in the last decade lol. Don't see the point , when there are others lot more worthy..

We got Lyon and Murphy going on the SL tour id imagine

Swepson or possibly Tanveer if we take 3

Is that why he only plays T20 - so the other players don't have to hang around with him for more than half a day?
Haha maybe he just sounds like hard work to deal with tbh.

Just the vibe i get listening to him with a bit of an abrasive attitude.
