Agree with Harsha.

The tactics when your only trying to get one batsman out and not both of them. It becomes easier for the batsman to control the situation as the fields get too defensive.

Jamal was batting at 9 ffs. He wasn't Virat Kohli.

Tails rarely wag. When they do this line always gets trotted out..

Happens all too often. We get a team 8 or 9 down then any semblance of a game plan goes out the window.
The commentators said over 90% of the bowling was short. If a batsman knows what's coming it makes it a lot easier to play.

At least we have a contest now, so that's something I guess.

I thnk every one agrees our tactics were poor

One thing though, I don't think Jamal will be a number 9 for much longer.

Partnerships get progressively smaller everytime a wicket gets taken. That's why something like this stands out

I noticed on the CA website he played for Hawkesbury in Sydney grade cricket 7 years ago.

Looks like a capable number 8 i reckon that will be a nuisance value regularly enough.

I don't think the extra runs from the tail will cost us. We should be batting well into day 3 unless we throw our wickets away.

Big century looming if someone wants it.

Warner will ton up. Nothing surer. The pitch is a road, afridi left out, Pakistani catching can get worse, any 50/50 will go his way etc.

Only he can f**k this up now.

Yeah and i reckon there will be 150 crosses to Candice watching on in the crowd throughout the day and probably interviews with 7, Fox and all the radio stations throughout the afternoon.

Hmmmmm Mr Cricket just said that the short tactic rarely works.

Who to believe? A man with a PhD in cricket, or a they/them with a diploma in social justice @Pippen94

We're not looking at traditional tail enders here. Today's tail enders have had their batting skills upgraded with T-20 cricket. They're not afraid to attack.

When batsmen fight back against our bowlers, we go to the NFL equivalent of a prevent nothing defense. Then we go Pikachu face when we get thrashed around the park.
