Not scoring quick enough for mine, we are not scoring above 5 runs an over and after 44 overs we still haven't hit a 6 ffs!!

Smiffy hit one. Not good enough though as I think he hit a single the next ball. Should have tried to belt it over the grandstand instead.

Really is an issue, can you persevere with plod like this when you have Davey, the big show, and levers?

If they sack any of these debutants after one test, Australian cricket really is cactus

I guess it depends if this is a proactive pick, or they see Warner/Burns or Warner/Marsh as their ideal.

The press conference about this not been an immediate fix and requiring patience seemed to suggest they would stick with this team. Dont trust these selectors though so I expect three more debutants in Brisbane

nice

Renshaw might have been a tad unlucky to be out, but showed a bit of temperament to survive tonight and that's the sort of temperament that will take the considerable pressure off Smith.

I watched the shield game in Mackay when he scored 170 off 395 last year and he batted very much the same as he was last night and today and then cashed in as the bowlers tired and begun getting frustrated. He will learn very quickly at this level that he will need to play a little more positively. I hope they stick with him.

Id stick with Renshaw up until he turns 35 years old at least, seems like Shaun Marsh has had a decade worth of chances so this guys deserves at least 15 years to prove himself.

I feel like they will pay for that. They haven't looked like getting Smith out and they spill their big chance.
