Take out Johnson's 8-for and he really has looked average this series.

Granted you can't just say that his 8-for never happened, but at this stage it appears to me to be a freak occurrence. But the commentators are still talking him up like he's DK Lillee's lovechild.

Well once DK crapped on about how good he was going to be the selectors basically threw him straight in. Never mind domestic form or the fact that he's still a rookie - in he goes never to be dropped.

That in itself tells you that the selectors have no idea. They have no judgement of their own.

McDonald is on and probably a good move - he's a bit more accurate and can aim at that crack.

McDonald's been looking good. Actually starting to not mind the guy. I've claimed him from the treacherous Victoriania and christened him as brand new New South Welshman. Much better player already.

Siddle can still f**k off though. When are these bowlers going to realize Amla is possibly the best cover/square driver in the word. Sigh.
