Opening with Morkel was a diabolical decision.. Huge ask to have a guy who has bowled a fair few others in stifling heat to open the batting.. He would have possibly been a valuable contributor down the order we he is accustomed to batting against bowlers who may be a little tired but opening was a dreadful decision.. Just because he can hang around for a fair period down the order doesn't mean he will be useful opening..

Bollinger is more like Passion Pop .. he has the Passion but he's part of Pop-gun attack .. he and Siddle are both ordinary ..

Haddin's batting has been very solid, and very valuable, but his keeping has left a lot to be desired.

He's just put down Amla, a catch which should be taken in a Test arena, off a terrific ball from Siddle. Amla is a big wicket, and you can't afford to put down those chances.

Bollinger has been far too short. Needs to pitch it up more maybe then he could get some swing.
