LOL Benefit should go to the batsman.

If McDonald wasn't certain on a one handed catch, and coupled with the replays which were VERY dodgy, then it clearly should have been given not out.

Terrible decision. Thankfully it doesnt matter in the context of the series.

It was identical to the one at the MCG! On both occasions the fielder did the right thing and felt it should be referred, and on both occasions the third ump decided most angles showed he got enough under the ball.

LOL What a shock you think that.

There was massive doubt. And the last time i checked the benefit of the doubt went to the batsman, not the bowler.

Maybe theyve changed that rule for this series based on the two which were referred to the 3rd umpire...

Thats nine dodgy not out lbw decisions (not counting that abberation locky thought was out) against one dodgy out catch......

Another eight and we'll be almost even.

Billy thought it was out so why give benefit to the batsmen, just go with what he thought.

Sorry willy but i dont see how anyone can say based on those replays that the ball didnt at the very least graze the ground for a split second.

Not even close to satisfying the benefit of the doubt rule.

But again, its a dead rubber so who cares.

but if it was an Aussie batting you would not be saying that. you would say there is no doubt it was out
