Pakistan almost level with the loss of no wickets.

Poms should have scored more than 306 after their over night score.

Stumps day 3:

PAK 3/146 (lead by 74 runs)

Hafeez is 97 not out.

If Pakistan can get the lead to 190-200, it'll be tough to chase.

Unless a batting collapse occurs I think this one will be a draw. Pak will be in no hurry to declare unless they are in a dominant position with themselves already one up in the series. It will probably take them most of the day to get a lead of 300. So far in this match no side has scored more than 240 in a days play. Stokes absence may tire England's bowlers out later in the day which could open up the scoring.
Scoring is slow from both sides with neither side scoring above 3 rpo in their respective innings.

If Pakistan declare you would imagine it will be maybe 30-45min before tea or so and be around 200 ahead. Of course maybe the bookmakers, err... I mean English bowlers can get them out for under 200, hence a chase of around 110-120

Id say Pakis will try for a 200 run lead before even considering a declaration

agree with Roth, draw most likely

I think a winto Pakistan. If they get to 200 run lead, which they should, going to be hard to bat. Pitch is breaking up more than the previous two, and their spinners are good (Yassir Shah looks the real deal thus far).

I can't see it being a draw.

There will be a result.

There is 2 days left though mate. Did you think there was 1 day left????

Plenty of time for a result. 180overs.

Say Pakistan last 2 sessions on day 4 and the target is about 210. Then that gives both sides more than enough time for a result with about 120overs left in the test match.

Pakistan will want more than 210.
There may well be a result but Pakistan won't be in a rush. They are only ahead by 74 runs and 1 nil in the series, they won't risk that. They will take the game away from England before declaring. Scoring has been slow and boring the whole match.

Well it's quite possible Pakistan could be bowled out for 285. That'd give England 214 to win.

I know Pakistan would want more but England have good bowlers.

On that pitch late on the 4th day and then into the 5th day I think England would struggle to chase 210. Yasir
Shah is bowling very very well.

Oh yes Pakistan could be rolled in today's first session you never know with them. I also have no doubt England will struggle chasing anything north of 150.

Pakistan going very well.

PAK are 7/312 with a lead of 240. England in trouble:D

Shafiq 28 not out is the only recognised batsmen left so they may add another 20-30runs.

Great knock from Hafeez 151, he got very good support from Misbah in a 93 run p/ship and Misbah made 38.

Sarfraz made 36 handy runs too and was just dismissed.

The Poms are in a deep hole:lol::lol::lol:

Still 38 overs left on day 4.

Plenty of time for a result, lead 245 with 3 wickets left, 37 overs left today

Pakis in the box seat for now, poms a slim chance if Cooky bats all day tomorrow

Anderson just dropped Shafiq. It was such a simple catch too!!!!

I hope it doesn't rain at the GABBA tomorrow as I'm off work and want to sit on the couch and enjoy it.
