The selectors needing to make two changes worry me. Obvious choices are Khawaja and Bird to come in, but they'll find a way to stuff it up.

Losing Starc is a huge blow for both bat and ball, and psychologically

Sure he goes for runs but then suddenly he'll rip out two wickets

My prediction for the 3rd test team:
Warner
Renshaw
Smith
Marsh
Maxwell
Stoinis
Wade
Agar
SoK
Lyon
Hazlewood
Overload the team with allrounders. LOL.
Ah well if we don't win the game and get thumped, the comic relief might be worth it.

Personally I'd bring Khawaja in for MMarsh (bat K at 4 with SMarsh batting at 6) and Bird for Starc as they're acclimatized. And dammit we need the extra bat.

Bringing Pattinson or Cummins for Starc for a must win 4th test would be a risk, but could be worth it depending on how Bird goes if actually selected.

EDIT: No bringing either back to test level too early is a bad idea, want these guys fit and firing for the long term, we have the potential to have a devastating attack in a year or 2, no point in risking that for the sake of one game and one series. Better to think long term instead of short term.

Yet Nevill was averaging in the 20s (with flawless keeping) and that was enough to be dropped lol

They so blatantly play favourites. The same argument they used to drop Nevill is what they're using to retain Marsh? It's insane.

Looking forward to seeing Stoinis in a test, long overdue

Lol at the Nevill nostalgia... toss a coin between him and Wade, plodder 1 and 2

Sadly, this sort of shit will be the difference between India and Australia, in a series that India so desperately needed to lose for the good of the game.

Sorry I don't see how India or Australia winning anything is 'good for the game'

Just watching the Dragons, Nevill is the McCrone of keepers. Wade could well be the Widdop

India has far too much power and influence in the sport right now, I'm tired of seeing their overrated team topple rankings and smash records on their home-heavy schedules. They spawned the IPL, an abomination to cricket, plus their fans are easily the worst in the world and constantly need humbling.

Easiest way to get them out of the clouds, hand out some defeats.

All a personal view of course.

Sure, agree except for me it's just similar shit different boss (except the iPL)

England are the only 'big player' who have to a degree put aside self interest for the game, and that was a long time ago now

So when they play each other the games can only end in a tie or draw?
.
Not my point, but if they want to play each other lots and make lots of money, that's great

Most of us outside those two countries just see two bad guys

Tha sentence wasn't ambiguous, try reading it again.

Most of the soiling recently seems to be Aussies posters crying about big bad Virat or nasty Sunny. You hate that India runs the game...
