10am The big news from the toss. Thilan Samaraweera has been dropped. Tillakaratne Dilshan has gone down to No. 5 He has won the toss and chosen to bowl first. The moisture retained from the rain is the reason behind it. More changes for Sri Lanka in personnel and in strategy. Three pacers in. Shaminda Eranga gets a Test debut. Lahiru Thirimanne comes in for a second Test. Rangana Herath comes back

If you thought Sri Lanka's team news was explosive, read this carefully: Ricky Ponting is back, but will slip down to No. 4 in the order. Michael Clarke will follow at 5, and Michael Hussey at 6.

Obviously not in good nick else he would have nick it :p

he did,it wasn't going to hit the stumps, he got an inside edge

ball moved a bit but the gap between bat and pad was big enough to drive a truck through

virtually no footwork

Unfortunately Khawaja hasn't taken his oppotunities. Otherwise it would be much easier to drop Hughes.

yes he has, I think he was second top score in the first test

not out in the second test

he was unfortunate that Marsh got the nod at 3 for the second test as I thought Oozie should have betted at 3

if I were Hughes I'd be getting a bit nervous, these two seem untroubled

3 tests and not a single 50. He'll get another opportunity, and rightly so. But he hasn't done enough to dislodge Hughes yet. Hughes probably get's the nod, only cause of his 2 centuries. He'd want to start making some runs though.
