So glad we are getting lapped, this team needs a serious overhaul and if getting flogged will do it, so be it.

How the f..k are we making Bresnan look half decent!

Hughes was looking really good today way better than Watson who should have been out at least 5 times before he was given. And don't forget Watson was given two lives in the first innings before getting out for 5.

Then the selfish wanker Watson ran Hughes out. Probably scared his precious opener role would be in doubt if Hughes scored a massive century - and he was on his way.

The reason this team is faltering is because of crap coaching, crap captaining, awful selectors and selfish wankers like Watson who only give a sh*t about themselves and not the teams.

Watson is part of the problem and I would drop him outright. He is a cancer to this team.

You are a f**king idiot.

Yes but 3 atrocious shots to get wickets. The bloke is a plodder and we are making him look like a swing king FFS!

Yes but our batting lineup, Watson aside is making these bowlers look unplayable. My gosh our batting lineup could make Bangladesh look world class at the moment.

The biggest issue for the Aussie bowlers IMO is why they've never been able to consistently reverse swing the ball.

Siddle got it to go abit. But that's it. Whereas all the England bowlers are getting it to boomerang.

The same happened in England as well the last two tours there.

Aussies can't get consistent shine on the ball and also the fact that they never bowl seam up.

Most of the time its scrambled which means it wont swing. Its a joke.

Hussey gone...can't blame him but...dude has kept us in 3 tests by himself.

Ponting has to go. Apologists on here can come on and say he is averaging 40 all they want but the dude is done. He is over the hill. A huge score versus Pakistan aside, he is averaging below 20 isn't he now? That is disgraceful for a first drop batsman and a captain.

Stick a fork in him.

In Sydney, go with youth...who cares if we get pumped...its time to prepare for the future.

Usman, Bollinger, Ferguson in. Harris, Hilfenhaus and Ponting out -Harris due to injury.

Steve Smith drops down to 8 on batting order as specialist spinner.

1. Watson, 2. Hughes, 3. Usman, 4. Hussey, 5. Clarke, 6. Ferguson, 7. Haddin, 8. Smith, 9. Johnson, 10. Siddle, 11. Bollinger

Eventually phase out Hussey...and bring in Peter George, Josh Hazelwood...whoever...just a tall fast bowler...then pushing Haddin and Smith one up the order.

Either that or develop another opening bat, and push Watson to 6 with new opening bat taking Watsons place up the order, shifting Clarke to 4 and Ferguson to 5.

Well it is up to these two now, they are the only ones left capable of big big scores.

Watson is not an opener.

And if he moveed down the order maybe he could bowl a few more overs. I just hope Ponting does the decent thing and retires.

Regardless of his current poor form, I believe Punter deserves a farewell Test. Give him the dead rubber... who cares if he gets a pair.

Let Ussie debut in the upcoming series against the Bangas... much less pressure than SCG, New Year's Test, with a big media build up.

yea you dont drop ponting, but the ACB should give him the tap on the shoulder and ask him to consider if his time is up. But he does deserve a farewell test

only other option would be to drop him as captain and give it to clarke and see if his form comes back, tendulker went through a mini slump around the same time

He can have his farewell in Sydney. I don't know if he could be in the team after he lost the captaincy, his ego seems too big.

Poms showing how lame the Australian attack is

They have a strong squad, Tremblett and Bresnan are good sorts, and Morgan not in the team...

Clarke struggling, and Smith just doesn't look to be a top order test bat... sorry Blue fans
