He had 1 terrible game and one very good game (bowling at the death brilliantly against NZ ) there have been worse

Yet the match before he bowled Australia to victory taking 3 wickets and bowling the last over, but had they lost everyone would have blamed him, rather than the opening bowler, one Brett Lee who went for 85 off his 10 overs

Also Australias best bowler the match before his smashing, even saw them completely over the line with the bat that time :lol:

Was Australias best bowler in atleast 2 of his 7 ODIs, had some bad games and some good ones as everyone does, but if it wasnt for butterfingers Bracken his 0/113 would never have happened. Although interesting that he actually got bowled out rather than say Clark who was heading for a 100 run bowling figures himself if allowed anymore overs, also Ricky didnt seem to want to bowl out Lee incase they took after him

I tend to agree, he got hammered in one game and he is painted the worst bowler ever, pretty unfair I think

He did bascially get us over the line in a couple of games vs the kiwis from memory. Was even being hailed as a death bowler, bizarre as it seems now, but not at the time

I think Muralis 0/99 in a ODI performance, as a lot worse, considering what the team totals were

That one against NZ was ages ago, not exactly a current stat to reply on.

That must be his 77 run game. I do remember the game where he bowled well at the death but after that it went down hill very quickly. He really only had one match where he didn't go for more than 5 an over. Pretty poor for a non express bowler. You expect that from Tait, Lee cause they are strike bowlers but Lewis doesn't have that excuse.

We did win the world cup easily in 2007, as well as the 7 odi series in india, plus series wins over the kiwis, Bangers and WI over the last year.

Up to SA to beat us here, and in SA, then they go to no1
