That's gotta be about the end of the Watson at 3 experiment. He is just too loose the way he plays those lunging drives to balls on the up. Just not a top order batsman.

I know Johnson rightfully cops a lot of criticism, and he does bowl some rubbish - but gee, he's improved a lot this series!

He's bowling fast, he's aggressive and he's taking wickets.

He's far from 100% perfect, but he is more than doing his job. And he doesn't really need to be our go-to guy - we also have Harris and Siddle.

We all have given Notch a lot of deserved crap over the years (myself included), but he's done very well this series and deserves a rap IMO.

Well done, Mitch!

With Johnson there's still moments of dumbness in between the brilliance but the dumb moments have been less frequent than usual in this series. Hopefully it stays that way in the next series and the one after that.

And with Watson, everyone here knows he should be no higher than 6 but his once in a blue moon century when we were miles infront will ensure he is at number 3 for the next 2 years.

FFS Brad Hodge.

Get ready for the f**ken Victorians whinging.

He got dropped soon after scoring 200 and with an average around 50. The bloke deserved more opportunities. Especially when nuffies like North and Quiney and Maxwell got a go.

FMD Chappell is a bore.
Even when talking about Michael Clarke changing gloves he thinks he is to give a long, detailed analysis.

Why do Chappelli and Slats always bring up stories from their playing days that nobody cares to hear about?

Craig McDermott is a dead set miracle worker. It's no surprise that bowlers like Hilfenhaus and Johnson bowled the way they should when he has been in charge.

Johnson will be man of the series and well deserved too, good on him. I hope he can keep it up because that express pace is the difference in this series.

I remember Chappell a few seasons ago crapping on about the way Hadds carries his bat and gloves when he's been dismissed. Reckons players usually carry their gear a certain way under a certain arm, etc, and went on and on about it for a least a couple or overs.

He's a bit different if not completely self absorbed old Chappelli.
