England were 116 runs ahead with 10 wickets in hand. They'll probably lose by 9 wickets. Once of the great acts of self destruction Test cricket has seen in a long time.

In fact by saying I don't trust the tail now Australia knows just to spread the field and wait for the catches when KP bats with the tail because he won't look for singles.

KP is not exactly a genius either.

KP is already a tried and failed captain that quit the post. He's the man says BunniesMan

If someone would have told me, 6 months ago that Chris Rogers, Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Johnson would dominate England at the MCG to put us 4 nil up in the Ashes... I'd have had that person locked away in an institution for life. I can't believe what we are witnessing here.

And not for Pietersen. Or did statsguru not tell you about the unmitigated disaster that was Kevin Pietersen as English captain?

It's a shame that Rogers wasn't not out at the end of the day, great knock from him. I don't think he would be as under fire as he has been if was 5 years younger, we don't exactly have anyone breathing down his neck deserving his spot besides a tried and failed option.

Wouldn't that be just fantastic though?

5-0, breaking Trott, Prior and Swann and then Cook getting sacked?

Short of a meteor hitting Pietersen that would be perfect.
