Taylor got 90 in the second dig as well, probably proof if he had time he would have gotten close to 400 but this Adelaide test could have a similar fate if we bat too long.

Yes, a better plan than letting them scrape out a draw for the sake of saving our bowlers for a session or two.

You're essentially talking about having the same amount of time to bowl them out twice, but without giving your bowlers a rest. 10 sessions broken up with a 3-4 hour break in the middle is much better than 10 sessions straight in 38 degrees.

10 session? 8 session I meant.

The record 4th wicket partnership in tests is 437 by Jayawardene & Samaraweera.

Ponting & Clarke currently on 357*

CLARKEY! Oh yeah!

Should be batting at #3 in the West Indies tour. Cowan, Warner, Clarke, Ponting, Watson, Hussey would be the top 6 in the batting line up I'd be going for.

This feels like deja vu. Better than the deja vu feeling of being bowled out for less than 150 over the last few seasons. Good to see our batsmen finally cashing in on starts to make hundreds.

Captain Pup another amazing knock

If Ponting makes 200 would that be 6 or 7 doubles for him? About 3 or 4 at Adelaide and a few against India as well
