:clap:Very well said. People should be focusing more on their own backyards.

Yeah, because my intense and undivided forum-focus on NZ cricket is going to have a influence on how they go, particularly on days when they're not playing

Such a great sight watching Ponting at his best. He would be in my top handful of batsmen in terms of wanting to watch bat.

Ponting moves to equal 5th in terms of most double centuries scored. Only Hammond, Sangakkara, Lara and Bradman have more than 6 200s. Will Ponting be able to surpass his highest test score of 257 (also against India)?

Great to see Ponting "finally" get there... and a great partnership with Clarke. OK Mr Cricket get your eye in and go for it! :)

I would love us to have a go at a mentally fatigued Virender Sehwag before the tea or end of last session.

I like the go nuts then declare 25 minutes before tea idea..

Starting twice chasing 500+ will be a pain in the arse..

Yadav has a world class bowler in there somewhere. He could be better than Zaheer or Sharma if he developed a little more control.

600 will come just before or just after tea. If before I'd come back for a couple of overs just so the Indians don't have the whole 20mins to prepare.

I like your idea. I'd bat and give India about 10-15 overs before stumps. That will be when India are at their most vulnerable to losing a wicket, as they will be looking just to survive out the day without losing a wicket after spending a long day in the field. This will enable us to attack. Whereas, if we declare after stumps, India will be nice and fresh when they start tomorrow morning.
