4th Test: Australia v India at SCG Jan 3-7 2019 - MATCH DRAWN

Savage and yet 100% accurate.

The lack of forward planning for the Ashes - forgetting for a moment picking your best team to win this series - has been atrocious.

The Renshaw case is the biggest black mark. I know he's in poor form now but he must have been mentally crushed after the way he's been treated.

He was on fire in England - ENGLAND! You know, where the next Ashes are in 6 months - and yet he was overlooked in the UAE for... Aaron mutherf**kin' Finch!

And now Renshaw has gone off the boil when he should have been tuning up for the Ashes.

Meanwhile Finch has been every bit the embarrassing Test opener any serious cricket fan knew he would be.

Or am I being too harsh on the state of affairs? Afterall, criticism burns happiness, doesn't in JL?

I never understood how the Test coach became so important over the captain.

Sure...a mentor and manager role. But being picked to play tests means you're fit, in form and of sound technique. And that's the states job to care about.

Langer was the wrong choice. Would have loved Gillespie. But as someone said yesterday he seems to be blacklisted.

If JL is happy then he should be immediately sacked. f**k burning happiness or whatever hippy shit he thinks.

Renshaw and Burns have been treated appallingly, and he has publicly backed that treatment and backed straight up failures like Finch
Yep the Burns case is equally appalling.

He has 3 Test centuries in 14 Tests. Wtf did he do wrong to be behind this bunch of park cricketers?

I mean it'd take Finch 140 tests, in Melbourne, all versus a 4 pronged pace attack of Daryl Tuffey, Tino Best, Mohammad Sami, and Chanaka Welegedera, to score 3 tons himself.
