Lol. Clarke is selfish. *Insert Kiwi Batsman* was hard done by, faintest of noises, no hotspot, fair challenge

He didn't hit it, IMO. He felt like he didn't hit it. Non striker and VC felt like he didn't hit it. But yeah, he only challenged it cos he's selfish  anyone but Clarke and it's a fair challenge

If he was sure there was no discussion needed, I think he was hoping to get lucky...

Anyway that's moot, he's out therefore hit it, you're wrong and he's out

And seriously, Watto does that and he's slated

Watto would challenge a busted stump. Slightly different baseline for the argument there. That said i have no issue with anyone challenging that

I said in a WC game or maybe earlier , and not even involving Australia that I hate that about DRS. No deviation, no hotspot, tiny snicko a frame or two late...out. I stand by it. It's garbage. Snicko can pick up any noise, be it a helmet creak or a scuff or the dude's wrist cracking. Using it in and of itself is a waste of time IMO.

Thought he hit it Baz, maybe he wasn't sure don't know but when you have to ask your partner you can't be sure so a poor review IMO. I suppose we get them back after 80 overs.

Tbh I thought he missed it, still do and I think his reaction indicated that he felt the same. He asked Smith because you know as well as I do that a small edge can be hard to feel as a batsman. Smith thought he missed it too, or at worst thought it was worth a challenge.

Either way he's out, rightly or wrongly, but the challenge was perfectly acceptable

The worst thing here would be for us to shit it in I think.

Then not only do the Poms win the Ashes, but they do it without a single compelling test match.

I thought England bowled good besides Finn who was a bit up and down. We had a few lucky breaks but batted with application.

Because Watto would review if it broke his toe in front of middle and off.

For sure, and that's a batters prerogative, and Watson doesn't seem to get he's the one with the flaw not the umpires

Too little too late for Australia though, really weird series
