Nothing against the guy but Voges does come across as another Marcus North. Scores his runs when it matters the least and goes missing when it counts.

By my count that's 500 for the series from Smith. An australian hasn't scored 500 runs in an overseas ashes since 97 (that was a 6 test series)

He's had a few failures but that's a successful series

Looking at those bowling numbers, Johnsons place has to once again come under pressure.

He's bowled occasionally with hostility but never really kept the pressure up or even been a 'strike' bowler.
