Im a proud Aussie supporter, but man we like to whinge about stuff when it doesn't go our way.

OMG change the rulz!! I only like a decision making process that goes in favour of Australia. Hardly a whisper on here about Hughes claiming a catch that wasn't.

The soap dodgers are about to but 600 on us, this is like complaining "we wuz robbed by the ref" when you lose 68 to 10 in the NRL. (which is all to common on here sometimes, myself included in that critisicm)

hey wasnt that Manly biggest win over the Eels? After the Eels lead 10-0 :(

rebuild in SL in August, when our next tests are played? or against India next home test series?

Doesn't matter where we play we just need to bite the bullet and do it. Sri Lanka should pound us particularly with our spin stocks as they are.

First of all, you're an idiot. Read through the posts properly before you embarrass yourself.

In regards to the no-ball, the question was asked whether an umpire should be able to ask for a referral of his own non-decision. It was simply thrown out there to see people's thoughts. Nobody disputed the actual decision.

And with the Bell hot spot incident the general discussion centred around the value of hot spot given that it is known not to be 100% accurate.

Not a single person has suggested in the slightest that either decision has had any impact on the outcome of the match.

1st time ever that the 6th/7th/8th wicket partnerships have been over 100 in the same innings in any Test Match.

600 up and Mitchell getting knocked around for fun

Hilfenhaus is pure garbage, a supposed outswing bowler who bowls a good metre or 2 short of where he should be bowling. This should surely be the end of him...

Should be, but we all just know these selectors are going to make very few changes and come up with some more hilarious reasons why.

I don't know the front end of a cricket bat from the back, and when I played at high school I was a geniune No.11 batsmen and a right arm optimistic bowler.

But do we need to get over this obssesion with picking a spin/slow bowler? If they are not up to it, than its basically picking someone to bowl lollies to the batsmen.

I reckon just pick the best four bowlers available, whatever their discipline is.

Copeland has to tour Sri Lanka IMO. Give him a chance, Mcgrath type line and length bowler is what we lack in the test side.

Just for Azkatro

Here is a list of all the series where a team won 3 or more matches in the series by an innings

1928 - ENG v WIN - ENG 3 wins
1930-31 - AUS v ENG - AUS 3 wins
1931-32 - AUS v SAF - AUS 3 wins
1935-36 - SAF v AUS - AUS 3 wins
1947-48 - AUS v IND - AUS 3 wins
1957 - ENG v WIN - ENG 3 wins
1958 - ENG v NZL - ENG 3 wins
1959 - ENG v IND - ENG 3 wins
1966 - ENG v WIN - WIN 3 wins
1993-94 - IND v SRL - IND 3 wins
2007-08 - SRL v BAN - SRL 3 wins

so yes, if Australia loses by an innings in this test, it will be the first time we've lost 3 tests by an innings in one series, ever!

How would Trott feel dragging Johnson tripe onto his stumps for a globe and missing out on this party?

As I've said before, I'm happy for Johnson to be in the side IF he has some quality bowlers around him.

Because our bowling line-up is so sh*t, we tend to look to him to do everything and when he's off it is magnified.

At the end of the day, he is the only bowler we have that can destroy a team.
