yes, the 9th wicket has performed better than the 3rd and 7th wicket for Australia

Chappelli making the obvious point that the good news from the result is that Cricket Australia can't get away with band aid solutions anymore.

and so ends the most woeful australian cricketing performance in near 30 years.

For the first time in Australian test cricket history, we have lost 3 matches in a series by an innings plus.

Our number 9 batsmen (Siddle) had a better batting average than our number 3 (Ponting)

I'll have to check the records, but this could very well be the first time, if not first, then first in a f**king long time, that none of the top 4 batsmen managed to score a century between them in an entire series.

Only managed to bowl out England twice in a match once.

if there was another test series in 2 weeks time, id bank that wed go with basically the same side

SL is in 7 months, we will take a new spinner, and backup left field bowler and batsman who wont play in the tests

nothing will change much whilst we got gumps like nielson, sutherland and hildich in charge

Maybe we should play Johnson every second test. We rested him and then he won us the next match. If we rest him every second test, we might win at least nearly 50% of matches.
