Thats pure class, to say "tough shit" Cowboys on the official website.
Really?? That's what you got out of that blurb??

It really is amazing how people think it is as simple as taking 6 points off the Sharks and assuming the game plays out the exact same way for the following 70+ minutes, and the game ends 18-14 to the Cowboys.
There is so little logic to it and yet so many people buy into this 'robbed' garbage, it's staggering.
Same here no guarantees NQ. Momemtum, Body language etc is different if the refs count correctly. In these games there's not much between the teams. A momentum killer or bad call like this is usually all the difference
Or, knowing it's the 5th, Tagataese doesn't run the ball, but Carney throws up a bomb and they score anyway.
Or, they run it into the in-goal, have numerous sets on the Cows line, tiring them out and eventually the Sharks win by 20.
Or, the Cowboys repel that set and many others in the game and win by 20.
Or, a million other scenarios that could have occurred because for the 72 remaining minutes of the game every single decision every single player on the field made from then on had the potential to be different from what it actually was on Saturday.
It's Logic 101 and every whinger claiming robbed has got an F.
We came from behind twice more in the game despite giving them an intercept try.
We were the better team & wanted it more. We fought to the 81st minute to secure it.
I think the main point is that we shouldn't have had to overcome the f**k up in the first place, everyone keeps saying "oh but they had opportunities to overcome it and they didn't" and "there was 73 minutes after the incident to win" but the fact is we shouldn't need to chase down head starts in the first place. If it hadn't gifted the sharks six points, we're not talking about it still as it wouldn't have influenced the end result. But it clearly did influence the result, that can't be denied. Of course anything else might have happened after the correct call was made, but it wasn't made and our team was chasing six more points than it should've been, it's that simple.
Do you think next year we should just ask the nrl if we can have a six point lead at the beginning of every game? The opposition still have 80mins to overcome it, so it's ok, isn't it?
