hahaha, are you suggesting the st george illawarra dragons were formed in 1921?

The roots of the club do indeed stretch back that far, yes. An attempt to form the club can be dated back even earlier, but what is history and reality to you? A second set of books to the fiction you've read perhaps?

A long and famous era had ended for St George and a relatively short but proud era was over for Illawarra.

if i didnt know better, i would suggest the club is acknowledging that the stgeorge dragons are gone....

And you're free to interpret that however you want.

This, however, has much less wiggle room:

Now take a deep breath, get over it and move on to 2012, a season with much promise but nothing in the bag yet.

A full strength Raiders side has been the Storm's only test so far this year.

Unfortunately we now have a sh*t load of injuries.

The Storms best players seem to NEVER get injured (well Slater broke his collar bone for AUS but didn't miss a game for the Storm. I know Cronk missed a couple games late last year).

You are right there...... Our big names seem to be paticulary resilient (knock on wood) Cam Smith in paticular seems to be immune to major injuries....

Canberra was our second toughest assignment Bulldogs game was the first that match was really tough.

I really would love to see a fully healthy Canberra side in action... So much potential but between you're Coach and Injuries I doubt we will see it anytime soon :(

You fail to understand what is entailed in a clubs history. While The St George Illawarra Dragons may be a completely new entity, the history of both the St George and Illawarra clubs is part of their history. Does a person relinquish their family history when they leave their parents, get married and start their own family?

Storm could go 25-0 and sweep the premiership and still the LU Derp Brigade would find something to taint it, jealousy is a curse. I'm starting to develop the old Manly mentality, its great to be hated, its a sure sign others envy us secretly!

Premierships this century:

Brisbane - 2
Manly - 2
St George Illawarra - 1
Wests Tigers - 1
Penrith - 1
Roosters - 1
Bulldogs - 1*
Newcastle - 1

Melbourne - 0

Please tell us why supporters of any of these clubs should be jealous.
