The only reason why Newcastle is foreigner free, as you suggest, is because the f**king Newcastle airport is located about 15kms south of Coffs Harbour.

Newcastle does pretty well for a city that gets nothing, no funding, no investment no government interest whatsoever...for all of those things, its not a thriving place, nor is the city itself handsome for lack of development. But its a great place to grow up and live, climate, amazing beaches and bush land and mostly because its the way australia should be, for australians.

I am from the best part of NSW, on the North Coast. Newcastle is way better then Sydney. The unfortunate thing with Sydney siders are they they think they are better then everyone else. They are a bit like Americans. A bit full of their own importance. Brisbane is a better city then Sydney. I am a New South Welshman threw and threw but it is a pity that Sydney is our capital.
