?????? He was the heart and soul of Newcastle aswell. He won 2 x GF's. He was consistent at all levels of LEague, unlike Wally Lewis. HOw quickly people forget. He was the best player I have seen.

Thats half the problem with have a non-existant film industry. Legends of Australia will never get film time like they do in America.

his life, career and drug battle are all part of who he is. i would imagine the movie would cover all of it.

The only reason why Newcastle is foreigner free, as you suggest, is because the f**king Newcastle airport is located about 15kms south of Coffs Harbour.

And if God wanted a country that was slow, smelt like urine, filled with fat 40 year old drug-addled, single-mother, prostitues, and Raymond Terrace, then Newcastle is definitely the place.

Otherwise it's a backward sh*thole.

BTW - If this movie was based around the real Andrew Johns story it would an eye opener. And worth a view. Otherwise it's going to be hideous viewing... although it might be worth seeing to see who play's Nevelle Costigan, when he took johns out for good

Neville Costigan would probably be played by american professional wrestler Ezekial Jackson and will be given operatic music to emphasise how much of a 'force' he is.

The Andrew Johns story can only really be appreciated by those with a few clues about mental health, and reading this thread just shows how tragicly ignorant most people remain to mental health issues.
Quite frankly, many of the people who have posted in this thread need to take a long hard look at themselves. It's like the bloody dark ages in here.

The movie probably needs to be made, just to try to educate all you neanderthals a bit.
