I haven't really been able to find any decent pictures of the jersey. So I took these screenshots out of their promotional video, to give people a better idea of what the jersey and colours look like.

Alot of the images, esspecially those in the paper seem to be discoloured, with the teal looking more purple. So here is what I have, please post any better photos people can dig up.

I personally love it! The perfect mascot and I love the colours because teal is my favourite colour in the world! I can't wait to get one of those beautiful jerseys!!!! :p

What was the explanation behind the colours? Blue for the water, orange for the sand and the sun? Or was it just random?

They have copied the colours of the NFL Miami Dolphins whose most famous player was quarterback Dan Marino.

What other colours could they have chosen really?
It has to be different to other teams' jerseys and most of the colours that exist have already been taken by other NRL clubs.

There aren't that many colours left to use and they came up with a good combination. Seriously I can't see how anyone can fault its design, it's not that out there. It's alot like the Roosters, Bulldogs or Storm jersey in.

Stop being so unduely negative. If you aren't careful, people will mistake you for Bears fans and nobody wants that!

the dolphins may be securing overseas ties with the miami dolphins possibly, similar to the brisbane broncos and denver. the jersey is very much super league in appearance, the colour scheme is more miami hurricanes in my opinion (college football). the visit to the nfl headquarters from david gallop could of been more than just 'checking out how things are done' ?

I don't see what wrong with resurrecting the old Jade, Purple and Aqua of the Chargers! Now there's a DISTINCTIVE jersey!

is the word 'dolphins' on their front because of a lack of a major sponsor (therefore will change to display their name) or is it they way the jerseys will stay?

They have a major sponsor and a sleeve sponsor.

It will replace the Dolphins name if they get the go ahead.

Ozemail is the major sponsor
Heinekin is the sleeve sponsor (although that was organised before the NRL deal with VB, so the Heinken deal might not be allowed now)

Great name. Great jersey. Great logo.

Lets just hope they have great management. Otherwise it'll all be for nothing.

I don't see anything wrong with Heinekin being a sleeve sponsor.

It seems the NRL has the "Official" of everything. The "official Beer of the NRL", "The Official laundry detergent", the probably have "The official coaster with which you much rest the official Schooner filled with the official beer of the NRL upon"

Looks like superleague rubbish.

You dont think News Limited have something to do with this? :-k

There are talks about them pulling out of Melbourne, and forcing the Storm to relocate to the GC.

Oh yeah I think St Helens wore something similar.
