A Tricky proposition.

Yep pretty much agree K.

rewatching the Friday night game …Trickys kicking game has come along so much… gives me a woody like 100mg of Viagra.

there’s a plan here….two year resigning is a sign. And to be fair Moylan is more than a headless chook ….he’s more like a mad goose.
Who knows how to cross a busy Highway but sometimes can’t be f**ked .

Plus Niwai Puru will provide some competition for replacing Moylan. Will be an interesting succession plan to see play out

Tricky was always the succession plan after Moyza imo. Just needed some decent game time (starting) to prove his worth. And the fact Moyza got through unscathed last year didn’t give Tricky any real opportunity. The fact that Tricky has secured his future here augers well in the resigning of WK too. Think Flanno and Xerri sort of closeness.

Im pleasantly surprised Tricky and Tracey have flown under the radar with other clubs. They could easily hold a fulltime FG gig elsewhere

He isn't a winger
He isn't a centre
He isn't a half
He might be a fullback but unsure if I would trust it and he would be far behind others

What K said.
I feel he’s more a 6 than anything, but not in the top handful of 6’s we have.

He’s too good for Reggie’s, but not needed in our NRL squad.

I’d be happy to see him land a gig elsewhere where he’s needed.

Spot on....one of those players that is too versatile for his own good. Perhaps part of that is he isn’t quite good enough to nail down any specialist position. Having said that he will come in handy at some point when we have some injuries and always gives 100% whatever position he plays. Glad to have him in our squad but not so excited to see him in the top 17 unless required.

He’s a great squad man, provided he’s happy dropping in and out of the 17. It’s great to have someone, particularly as 18th man who can cover so many gaps adequately.
I doubt he’d be happy with that, and would get a starting spot at a fair few clubs, or at least be their regular number 14.
I’d rather not lose him, for that versatility value, but probably agree with most that he’s the one squad member we’d get some value from in terms of a trade.
I also wouldn’t be overly against him getting a run in the centres as was originally planned last year, but think Iro might have jumped him for that position should Jesse or Sifa be unavailable.

I’m all for the ‘extended bench’ solution in this new HIA world. Allow a 6 man bench, but only 4 of the 6 can be used. In that sort of world, Tracey’s value is significantly improved.

Frenzy.

Getting more like a Gridiron bench every day.
