Tonight's game got me thinking about dud players who have has standout games against us despite dishing up rubbish every other week. Tonight it was Robert Lui and Ashton Sims, ordinarily 2 nuff nuffs.

Another notable one that comes to mind is Nathan Fien last year. We seem to bring the best out in the nuffies, plodders, hacks, myths, gimps and incompetent duds. Why? There are plenty of other talentless mongs that have killed it against us too, I'm sure you guys can rattle a few off.

More broadly, we are the team that will run any team back into form.

Any team that needs to catch a break or is down on their luck tends to bounce back against us. The cows have been legless but after a tough week for them, we stepped in and gave them a training run.

Matt Elliott will be kicking himself that he didn't have us in round 5, he would still have a job.

I remember last year we made Soward look like Andrew Johns, against the raiders Jarrod Croker, Josh McCrone and Joel Edwards all looked like superstars against us.

Many people remember Benji Marshall's debut game was the 52-12 dicking the Tigers gave the Knights in 2003, but many forget that the Tigers halves that day scored 4 tries (2 each).

You seem to have the definition of nuffie incorrect.

What was the go with Boyd last night? He was abysmal and didn't seem interested at all. Cover defence was non-existent and his ëfforts"under the high ball were pathetic.

I'd hardly call Croker a nuffie. He's on course to set a number of records barring serious injury and he has a serious chance at 2,000 career points. He's been the Raiders best along with ex Knight Joel Edwards.

What's worse are the nuffies that were here to begin with, they move onto another club, are still nuffies for most games of the season but then turn it on against us and look like world beaters.

I don't know how he's going these days, and I know he had wraps as a junior... but I vividly remember Ben Hunt ripping us limb from limb last year.

Hah I noticed this last night also. Some seemingly 'sensational' plays from ordinary players against a very out of form defenseless Knights side.

-I can remember Ben Hunt never play more like Lockyer when we played you guys in the 1st game last year. Though it was back to pretty flat attack from him the next week, so I dunno. Maybe they are all auditioning for Wayne Bennett ??!

If it's any consolation. Our inept performance on Friday made Chris Sandow look like the next QLD no#7 :p

Croker and all the other Raiders nuffies must be licking their lips in anticipation of having their second and last standout game for the year. Surely we can't get Crokered twice in the space of a month.
