so if daisy is such a cancer, why has he still got his greesy fingers involved? - surely there would be nothing to lose by just sacking him, pay him his salary, but just piss off - then let someone with a clue and wants the chance to train the U20s, for no more pay, the rest of the year .... obviously those within the club think Daisy has some value and is not actually f'ing the kids up

I never understood the appointment either.

I thought if they held him in such low regard, tbhe best thing would have been to leave him as an assistant, and basically freeze him out in the cold in terms of decision making

If Rodney Moefaauo is a prop and hasn't even played NYC yet, then he's got a loooong road to FG. How many props are U20 are holding their own in NRL at the moment ? Sounds like more Filiga cash to me.

He has a contract with the club and we dont need to be paying him out and then appointing another coach

He has moved up to live in the Parra Area whilst his kids school in the area also so the club had to accomondate him till his contract expires

As Stagger said, he will be out at October when his contract finishes

There have been names mentioned regarding the Under 20's for next year

I hope that it's not a former "legend" who has previously coached at another club and now bides his time selling office equipment.

Remember that nuffy troll coming on midseason to tell us how Daisy would prove by the end of this season why he is a great of the NRL and prove that he is a far better coach than DA?

I can't get too fussed about some of the poachings. Fact is, Sharks missed out on Poore who was the one they really wanted.

We can re-bid with everyone else when Kelly's next contract comes up.

BUT! - if daisy is being sooooo costly to the progress of our U20s, so much so that they are losing and leaving for greener pastures - then surely it shouldn't matter if we pay him out and get someone already employed to deal with the 20s for the rest of the season??? .... is there anyone on staff who would love the chance to prove themselves as a good U20s coach for no additional pay?

Our Ball, Matthews Sides are coached by guys who have full time employment elsewhere

I understand that, I'm just questioning, why, if he is held in such low regard, he would have been out in charge of the kids? I would have thought the safer option would have been leave him as was....with Ando giving him minimal input into the day to day affairs.

I have to agree

We lost guys like Tonga, Graham, Williams brother, Tony Williams, Green... all of these guys have had rough patchs and other than Tonga and the William brothers they have no performed up to first grade standard for extended periods. I have no real issue with the players we have lost, someone like J.Mannah is a big unit and alot of parramatta fans have said we lost the better brother be tbh he has been less than solid this year with Tim performing much more consistantly tbh.

One player that I regreat lossing is Jason Cayless and other than that parramatta has probably kept too many jnrs they shouldn't have. Gardner is going to be a good player but with an inform Hayne, Inu and Reddy there will be no room for him in the team, we dont need to be paying overs for outside backs.

But then for Gardner, he might come cheap for a 1 year + option contract.

who's to say that Hayne and INU will stay after 2010.

I'd bet alot clubs will throw money at Hayne, then when they don't get him, they'll throw it at INU

Then we'll be left w/o a fullback.

Hayne is already trying to up his price by not ruling out Union. Fairfax said he was open to offers on The Long Lunch today

Beat up. They ran the quote on 9 news as well.

He was asked if he would be a one club one. He said it was looking that way, that there were distractiobs such as Union, but that he hoped he'd be at Parramatta a long time. Channel 9 news left out the bolded piece of the quote which I heard on ABC radio.

Also said he loves it here and wouldn't be in the near future if he did go to union.
