It would be half the distance to go to Toronto compared to Jacksonville...
These situations highlight the need for a fulltime International governing body. We have 3 nations now that have seperate bodies which are the US, Italy and to a much smaller extent Thailand. I really think the RLIF pay too many favours for some governing bodies over what's in the best interests for the game. How the AMNRL has been able to carry on over the years with the lack of transparency, the selling out to Grand Prix etc without any castigation from the RLIF is mind-boggling.
Is William Tatham and his cronies still on the board of the AMNRL? It's quite ironic that they are in the media game but yet we heard nothing on their website even though they were competing in the World Cup. Is must be mightily frustrating for some who are involved in the game in the US with the mess that has been created.
It's still got me bewildered as to why the AMNRL did not want to become affilliated with the RLEF, does anyone know the reasoning behind this?
+1
Because RLIF were encouraging both American bodies to unite because Grand Prix had "big money involved" - fact
Also another question to add what was done with the money he did send the AMNRL?
Since an AMNRL official made a public comment along the lines of "(Tatham) you promised us everything and gave us nothing. Now all you have is some logos and a website, we have your money"
Reference for that quote?

No idea, but I think most of the other AMNRL clubs forfeited matches last year which was originally one of the main concerns of the USARL? Maybe I'm wrong, TBH it's pretty difficult to find information from either side these days and I'm really not too interested either way as long as the problems with the national team are resolved. What are their requirements EH?
