Be nice guys.

It seems that Andrew is depressed, and we should all hope he gets better soon.

Ennis pretty much admitted he does what he does because he knows he'll get away with it. The NRL and refs can easily set the example here, they talked a lot at beginning of seAson but in typical nrl fashion never followed through with it. Anything untoward penalise, then march back 10 metres then bin. Will cut it out at tne top overnight but the refs need the support of the NRL, coaches and media otherwise it will get turned on them that they have coat teams games etc.

5 minute bin needs to come in to cool players down.

10 minute bin they all bleat on how its too much of a penalty etc etc.

Some idiot comes hard at the ref abusing him - go sit down for 5.

Will piss the coach off, player will learn and also keeps the whingers at bay.

Sounds like you with AFL or Sydney clubs.

Bang on

5 minute bin and its used on players who so much as say boo to the refs if they aren't the captain. After the first few weeks of 100s of players being binned it would sort itself out

Refs don't sin-bin anybody these days because they don't want to have their name in the paper the next day for influencing the outcome of a game. They won't even do it for blatant professional fouls anymore.

They only feel comfortable sin-binning a player if there is a punch thrown because everybody knows & accepts that this is the outcome.

If the NRL brings in an edict that any disputing of a decision is an automatic 5 min sin-bin, players will learn quick-smart they can't do it...but more importantly coaches, fans & the media won't jump up & down about it affecting the game because it's a blanket rule that we all know.

5 Minute Bin absolutely has to come in.

As you said, you can't even have a player binned anymore for a blatant professional foul. It's ridiculous.

Team goes to take a quick tap, defender standing 2 metres away arguing with the ref about the decision tackles him.

Oh don't worry we will blow another penalty, that'll stop it happening next time when a team wants to take a quick play and possible excitement for the fans.

zzzzzzzzzzzzz

If all this turns out to be BS, Andrew Fifita should file a defamation law suit against the officials and there employer. Also the ones who gave false statements should be wiped from the game for good and if the cop gave a false statement he should removed from law enforcement as well.

There was nothing in that article other than Fifita saying that he was innocent.

Hardly damming evidence, if anything he confirms he threatened to smash the guys phone.

And then went on to pull the old "depression" card.

Agree with what you say except the bit about the depression.

The article just states he had depression issues previously & he is quoted to say it's been a difficult period, which it would be no matter about ones state of mind.

Once again, the media is pumping it up.

After the crap being pumped out by the media this week about the other issue I am surprised they have any crap left to pump.
