Maybe - its hard to compare generations but back in the day they didnt have full time video analysis of players and professional attitudes. techniques etc.. like they do now.
For mine on this list - (and there will always be a great debate) but Wally wasnt great in the NRL. Yep had a good game very now and then but in Rep games he was dynamic but I think he was a lot like Mal in that he could be very lazy in NRL games. Joey on the other hand reigned supreme in todays professional league.
Forget Ben Kennedy - If Joey wasnt playing in 2001 we would have won the GF by 30 points.
A bastard off the field Joey but .. what a player.
