Jail Field, yes that's right, looked so good, until he moved up the ladder towards 1st grade, & the big boys. Why are all our outstanding juniors so f...king small.?
Not eating enough protein when they were young. Need lots of chicken and carbs plus of course veggies and fruit and plenty of water. In a team of similar dimensions and weight, our young ones rising from the lower grades would excel more. In teams of greater dimensions and weight, our young ones perish.

Starting to lose faith in Hook and Co. While it’s not time yet to start burning jerseys- we have a huge mountain to climb with Eels, Roosters, Storm and South’s - all in next few weeks. This will test the team and I can’t see any wins for a long time. The chances of a top8 finish are very slim if not impossible now. Media will start piling on pressure on him and our team is not very resilient at the best of times. I foresee a lot of hands on hips and blank faces behind the posts ….
This is the reality at this early stage of the competition. There are standouts and dropouts and unfortunately while we were hoping on top of hope that we would be a stronger (mind and body) team, I just see us as the latter unless everything really gels and we have players on the field who will put in and lead each other player into believing in themselves moreso than what they did against the Sharks. Their heads would have dropped to the ground after Su'a was sin binned. The players are seeing it happen a real lot of times and would be unsettling them.

Hook and Co. need to really rally the troops and get them back into a winning frame of mind and forget the past 2 games. The next handful of games will be tough and if they have learned anything from their losses to the Panthers and Sharks and have come up with solutions to win the next 3 out of 5 games, that would put them in better stead.

You can't have a coach coming off contract. The media attention would be relentless. That's why they did it.

No, better to lock him in and then pay him out a year when you realise the pressure might start to turn on you as board members. Been there, done that. We are scarred by the last coach. The majority of fans could see he was an imposter 4 years before he finally got the chop.

Griffin was coming off contract, should have put a challenge out to him to show his ability to bring this team together to earn an extension. Happens with the players. Could have kept another eye on alternatives.

Here's hoping he can still achieve this. Winning something other than a Warriors game would be nice.

I've read some basic coaching comments about positions and management of players, second phase play, selection of players that all make a whole lot more sense than what we see our coach doing, but my biggest gripe is with the failures of our players to show match awareness and seize the opportunities given. We fall into patterns that usually involve us doing a butt tonne of tackling mid way through a first half which always catches up with us later on. We really lack leadership on the field like no team I have ever seen before and he was suppose to have imported this in spades. So disconsolate that these things never get addressed.

Yep I'm over it too , keep hearing give it time , F**K how much time do the board want ? Just want to see improvement every game whether we win or lose ...... Not play ok then back to where the team was under you know who ...... Always excuses the Refs , the , Bunker , Yea agree some call have been bad this year , but the team seems to need everything going their way if they are to win ...... Always look good for 15 min a half but then fade outs happen or is it game management from Coach , Halves , Don't know what the problem is , I know a lot of people on here were happy to see Dufty go a guy that his heart was with the Big Red V , for me the guy is a game breaker ..... Can score long range tries from nothing and has try assists in him , But again our coach could not utilize his attacking ability ( even if its off the bench ) which not one player we have can do what Duff can ....... Anyway rant over ...... Be patient Nah want improvement Now .......

Like any player, the coach is fair game.

Last year we had the excuse of BBQ gate. Can't remember how many games in a row we lost.

I will give him a few more rounds, however, I'm not holding my breath. Our game plan seems to be centred entirely around Hunt, and he must know this as the opposition sure does.

Its round 3 but we are at best 14th.

" It's only March" is the bs I keep hearing.

I'm waiting to see how Dufty goes against Manly this evening. I think he loves playing them especially out running Tommy.

After 3 rounds the seemingly silly talk of wooden spoons is now quite plausible, thats how last Thursday night’s game has left me feeling. Had been hopeful but that whole 80 minutes suggested more gloom and perhaps even doom ahead. Can someone please change my mind…and mood? Can Griffin turn the ship around?

Come on @Lovemedragons , sure, Thursday's game was àbsolute garbage by the Dragons. But that is only 1 game. The 2 games before that were OK. What's the old saying - "one swallow doesn't make a summer"? Well, what about "one crap game doesn't make a winter of despair ". OK, that's it. That's the best I can do to change your mood. Hope it works.

It’s well known I’m no fan of Griffin, but 120 points conceded after 4 weeks tells the story.

I’m starting the Jamie Soward in 2024 campaign!

If you want an insight into Griffin watch this, also a decent Dufty spray as well

I watched Lomax closest tonight…. He is a bog average footballer. Made so many errors/ errors in judgement even when put into some space late was run down easily. His defence is also poor. He has. 1 trick being a flick pass and that’s all…nothing else!!

So as it currently stands, our club is dead last in the NSW Cup & 2nd last in the NRL. Everyone seems to be banging on about our squad depth in 2022.
So, we either have the wrong type of player or our coaching staff are out of their depth and are plain shit!! I sense a bit of both and I now have zero confidence in Griffin, Gentle & Head motivating a team of slugs & misfits.

Yet, the girls do the club proud reaching the GF with Sowie as a coach, actually teaching skills and instilling passion.

I fall asleep listening to Griffin waffle……

way off Griffin on the basis of these performances and post match IVs - was willing to cop it last year post BBQ (which in hindsight is right on brand w this mob) but he's got to go, plain and simple... but we extended him cos thats Dragons management 101 - reward underperformance cos they're a "good bloke". Shame shame shame

....and that flick pass is becoming non effective. Not the best of games by Lomax and to me just doesn't have the class.
