Yet much of it has been proven to be true.

These same comments were posted in response to every rumour of player unrest for the last two years.

I’ll take sowards and Segeyaros and Ben hannant and Jarrod Wallace’s word over Griffins. All the rumours Reported by journos support what these players who were coached by hook say. Bury your head and refuse to believe it if you like I’m sure you know hook better than they do.

I would like to know the truth, not just your opinion. I am sure that the truth is somewhere in the middle of all of the stuff we have seen on this forum, and that goes for both pro and anti Griffin camps

All of this stuff was laughed at by these boards, it all looks true.


Anyway the evidence is there if you read between the lines. Gus says the mid year review wasn’t favourable toward Griffin, we have several ex players saying Griffin was prickly to deal with. We now have a reporter saying the players are happy he’s gone.

That’s everything bar a smoking gun.

I think they know they were wrong and just aren't willing to admit it.

The majority of the rumours have been true and even Hooks interview confirms a number of them.

If he's even hslf the coach he or others think he is. He won't have trouble finding a new job

I agree to an extent. But every past player that has come out & criticized him is a player Griffin has previously punted from a club. So while their view is valid, it's only natural there would be ill feeling behind it.

It's interesting to see that most of the players speaking out are players that have a carefree type of attitude. He clearly clashes with those type of personalities.

Problem is they’re the only ones really free to speak publicly. I can’t imagine Gus would want any current players doing the same.

It’s a game of connect the dots, I can’t say with 100% certainty that Hook lost the dressing room, but it seems much more likely than not.

Remember as well, it’s not just the players who seemingly didn’t get on with him. We had two senior assistants leave during this season, to me that’s very odd in a year where we’re doing fairly well.

Im surprised any want to do it. Most people would be more cautious with their opinions. You would have to feel them pretty strongly to make it public knowledge.

Hopefully the reason everyone is resigning is that there is a very strong bond amongst the players.
I think they want to play together and that is also the reason I think Nathan will stay at Penrith.

I think Nathan told his dad he won’t be going to Tiger town and that has spurred Ivan into some irrational contract quitting thoughts.

As to the resigning of Griffin last year I bet it was an automatic contract upgrade built into his initial contract for making the top 8

Last year the players knew he only had a year to go. Before he extended.

This year they could have told them he's gone after this season.

If the players love the club. A year with a coach they dont isnt a long time. Especially when they could very well hate the next coach more

The truth always sits in the middle. The board Atleast can be questioned by members... As a result voted out. So I can't see how it is as bad as some are making out. It is financially dumb
