People are talking like it's gospel that he wasn't liked within the squad. The only current player to speak (after he was already sacked) said he had no issue working with Griffin & he wasn't aware of any other player who did.

I'm not saying he was universally liked because clearly there's a few past players who didn't like him but they are also all the players that were (rightly or wrongly) punted by him.

I meant after Griffin was already sacked meaning he could of laid it on Griffin without repercussion. In saying that, i doubt he would anyway.

I don't think we will find out the truth about Griffin and Gould for a while. It is a real pity though. People aren't listening to anything Gould says because they all hate him regardless. Yet they are just accepting everything Griffin is saying as gospel and not even thinking of questioning it because it suits their agenda of bagging Gus out. Maybe he is in the wrong, who knows but the response against Gould is pretty unfound at the moment.
