I wouldn't pay much attention to rumours of griffin getting the sack cause I don't think it will happen. But the fact is rumours of player disharmony have dogged us since Griffin got here from different sources. So its either a three year long media beat up or perhaps where there is smoke there is fire.

Yeah the club might not be in crisis but there has to be something.

Well we have had a ridiculously high turnover of high profile players for various reasons. I think creative players seem to be the ones who have issue with him. Or maybe not even with him but just aren't happy with their footy under his style. He appears to be liked as a person as far as I can tell.

Hook just seems to like basic footy. Guys who cant do that tend to be the ones who get dropped or leave.

He is very controlling. I mean he banned attacking kicks, that is mind boggling to me still. He obviously has put serious clamps on Clearys kicking game imo.

He has shown he can get the players up but he struggles to do it consistently. We just don't play a winning brand of footy unfortunately. Unless our line speed is next level we tend to struggle even with a beast forward pack. Creative players don't thrive here, powerful strong players do. Hook is very one dimensional and predictable. It all adds up to him not being a good coach IMO.

Which works wonders for the under 12s rep teams. The NRL requires a bit more thought. This style is killing the creativity of our best players and we are becoming very one dimensional.

I don't disagree. I've always said if we keep him get an assistant like what Roosters have with Jason Taylor for the attacking stuff and let Griffin coach to his strengths.

It is the same simple things just the actual plays they run is pretty tricky. Like us they are very young so defence they struggle at times

It's a good thing I don't do that. I'm just happy with wins and unhappy with losing. I'd argue players get more blame than the coach. We've had a lot of talk about Maloney and Crighton after Brisbane but not much mention of Griffin.

As they should really. Luai was a coaching error but plenty on here myself included would of ran the same. The players threw the intercepts and soft online defence. No coach can know Kikau would miss 8 tackles.

We have half our full strength spine out. Our halfback has played 10 games out of 19.

How many has their spine missed? They have had a dream run so far and are cashing in on it
