I said If Hook failed. Gus should go.. Still is the case
Gus slammed the Barrett rumours. Not the Hook ones. Unless this is another time he shot them down.
This is why you can’t believe anything a club official says
Who Gus replaces him with will decide if Gus should be straight out the door behind him

One win off second place in a 16 team comp with the injuries this team has had and the youngest team in the NRL. It cannot possibly have anything to do with the performance of the team. That’s why Griffin has been sacked, we’re not where we should be. This is what many of us have been saying, the performance isn’t up to our ability.
No. It f**king didn't.Extending Hook made perfect sense. Without it he would have spent the year with speculation about his future and it would have been worse than it is now. It also undermines his authority with the players who know he may not be there next year. This has been repeated ad nauseam in other sports codes. Leave a coach with only a year left and it signifies the club has lost faith in them. Exhibit one, Wayne Bennett. The extension was the right thing to do, subsequent events don't change that.
Now I say. He should have walked out alongside Hook.Gus Should be gone. During the Off season.
100% correct as it has turned out.Speculation never stopped. It was f**king stupid...
Everyone loved him though. They all signed on go stay here so it must be true.Sound like Griffin wasn’t a popular bloke. These rumours have been around for years.
We could still have Moylan! f**k.

Can’t wait to see how the next couple years unfold.
If we start losing and the club turns to shit, who will they blame?
When does Gus become accountable
I don't see much sense in having Ciraldo long term. The only 1st grade NRL experience he has had is under Griffin, with his tactics and structures. I can agree with the rest of this year for the sake of continuity though.
Definitely. The players we have and the talent they have we should be on the level of the Roosters, Souths and the Storm this year. Despite being a few wins off top spot we were under achieving. After the 60th minute yesterday, I turned to my wife and said the coach has to go. I think the fact that we've pulled the last two games out of the fire says everything about the ability within the player group.
We need a coach that can harness the immense talent in this club and turn it into the juggernaut it should be.
